update on 2days of kayaking.
DAY 1
came to KALLANG RIVER.
removed specs, socks, handfones, wallets, mp3s and you know what else.
then had SWIMMING TEST.
awesome you know,
abu hit my hand with his leg.
easy lah. chicken sia.
then got onto kayak.
capsize drill, 4times to pass for me.
i din get the hang of it until last one.
dhen help uhm,
i think it was dionne or sophia.
push her boat, watch her do capsize drill while lying back. HAHA.
then we did the forward backward stuff. and j draw.
I LOVE COACH DAVID! HE'S LIKE COACH JIMMY, BUT BETTER.
then showered,
ate MILO energy bars.

DAY 2
AWESOME.
reached, put bags all.
at the bus, all put lotion.
then go straight to water.
then got BIGBIG raft.
damn long.
then i first to reach mahhhh.
i first go down, first reach.
so must hold up the paddle.
best, i get to do it first time!
then we break up and kayak to the CONDOMINIUM there.
then BEACH UP.
then learnt to "RAFT TX RESCUE".
is basically.
Victim -> Capsized, asking for help.
Main Rescuer -> HELP the victim.
Assistant Rescuer -> HELP the MAIN RESCUER.
Meanings of RAFT TX RESCUE:
RAFT -> form a raft(assistant and main rescuer)
T -> the victim should be at main rescuer's BOW, hugging.
then forming a T with the capsized kayak and the raft.
X -> Jerk the kayak up to drain water, overhead view; X.
RESCUE -> SAVE PEOPLE LA.

i love capsizing.
learnt to CLASSICAL DRAW, the 360, stern rudder.
im the first to be tested!
PROCESS:
Forward paddle to Arc at the Condo.
Stop.
Backward paddle to COACH DAVID.
Stop.
Forward paddle to Arc at Condo.
Turn Right.
Forward paddle.
Turn Left.
Turn to coach's direction.
J Draw Right.
J Draw Left.
Classical Draw Right.
Classical Draw Left.
360.
FINISH.
